2002 Chevy Tahoe sputters and stalls out while driving.....

2002 Chevy Tahoe sputters like it's not getting gas and stalls out while driving. It usually starts back up after a few min. Mostly only does this when it's hot out. Can anyone help me?

Fuel filter. Timing/timing chain. Idle air control valve. Idle sensor. Vacuum leak. Probably one of the above, but the filter is cheapest place to start. Change your air filter too, if you haven't for a while.

SOURCE: 2002 Chevy Tahoe sputters like it's not getting

Hello , does the vehical stall out after its been driving a while and the engine has reached operating temp? It may be what's called " vapor" lock. This is where the fuel is burned or evaporated in the fuel lines and the result is not enough fuel is routed to the injector system. Or you have a failing fuel psi regulator too. Thank you , Quinn

1999 Chevy Tahoe stalled while driving and now it won't start.

It sounds like you may have an issue with the fuel system or ignition system in your 1999 Chevy Tahoe. If it was running fine before you filled it with gas, then it's possible that the fuel pump or filter is clogged or faulty. If the fuel pump is unable to deliver fuel to the cylinders, the engine won't start. You could also have an issue with the ignition system, such as a faulty spark plug or coil. You may want to check the spark plugs and coils to make sure they are in good condition and that they are sending a spark to the cylinders. Additionally, you may need to check the fuel filter and fuel pump to make sure they are functioning properly.

2002 chevy tahoe was running fine from pa to sc we filled with gas and a little while later the car sputtered and shut off did it 3 times till we got to georgia and got more gas then didn't do it until 4...

it is a distinct possibility as some dealers use a E added fuel to rip motorists off. It is also a possibility that there was water in the fuel so I would have the fuel filter changed as a precaution. Run the fault codes to check for reported faults.

2002 chevy tahoe sputtered and shut off while driven nothing comes on message box.it didn't start doing this till I got gas in southcarolina

Have a mechanic check the wiring to the fuel pump and test the fuel pump itself and also test the ECM and COILS

Check that you are getting fuel. It sounds like the fuel pump is bad.

2002 CHEVY VENTURE, ran through standing water, now it starts, sputters, and stalls.

I think you should head to a mechanic. Sounds like you got water in the fuel system. You could possibly resolve the issue by filling up with a fresh tank of gas, but that could also cause more problems if there is a lot of water in there already. I'd take it to a trusted mechanic.

Chevy Tahoe sputters than dies

i would first try to replace the fuel filter.usually there filter accumalates debris in the gas tank especially if you you ru the tank close to empty.filter location needs to be traced from the tank toward the motor.you will see a cylinder inline with a strap.part usually runs around 20.00. also when you initally turn the key before start you will hear a hum for about 2 sec. this is the fuel pump pushing the fuel up to motor.so if you hear this pump is working.
