Audi A4 engine sputters/no power

Does the fuel gage read any higher now that you put fuel in it? If so, It was probably out of gas like you suspected. However, running a vehicle out of gas is extremely ******* fuel pumps. If your fuel pump was worn, with a lot of miles, it is probably toast now.

First thing you need to get the trouble code out of the computer.

Mass air flow sensor or map sensor? Is the check engine light on? if so what code is it setting?

renew the coil they do break down inside and cook

Checking this information car start but engine sputters while starting.

Check your RPM sensor.  Mine did virtually the same thing.  It was NOT the fuel pump like Audi dealer said-after I repaired it.

Usually it Means that you are low on Oil or Coolant.
