2001 hyundai transmission seems to buck as if almost staling and slips when excellerating from a stop

i have a 2001 xg-300 to same problem there's two speed sensor on the transmission (outpout and input) there's your problem i had the same problem change both of them (expensive but it's worthed)Remove the batery and the batery suport they are both there on the top of the transmission...they cost the same price around 221$ each, here at hyundai dealer in Québec please reply...thanks! I hope you havn't power cleaned the engine at any stage,,,,,, Check for moisture or even water in the spark plug wells . The HT leads should be tight ,clean , dry and not overlapping ie a HT lead seperator should be able to keep leads from touching and a possible mis fire.

It sounds like the transmission slipped. You need have the vehicle check for trouble codes and the trans. fluid level.

It seems the vacuum modulator could be faulty or the throttle preasure cable has slipped and is out of adjustment.

dear friend-i do not think you have a problem with your transmission,but i think we must have a look at the tps sensor.another thing to do is to connect to a hi scan and get some fault codes.

Hi,I am sure there is an earth wire under one of the bell housing bolts,often missed and can create all sorts of problems. Was it reinstalled?
