you will have to remove the door panel on the inside and if you cant see the retaining bolts there should be a triagle shaped piece of plastic covering the bolts. if this helps please rate joe

SOURCE: parking lights nissan 2002 xterra

Open the back lift door. Inside next to the lights there are screws that need to be removed before you can get the whole parking light off. After you get the screws out, you will have to force the whole plastic light cover to get to the burn out light. Once you get the whole light out, replace the bulb and follow the process in reverse.

Hi there before you post a rating lets go back and forth and see if we can figure it out. Frist a few qutsions for you. Have you ever had your timing belt replaced? When yopu crank it over now does it sound like it is struggling to trun over or is it making a weeeeeeeeeeeeee type noise? this will help me try and figure out what is going on. do you know how to check spark or take the distrubtor cap off?

Gear shift knob

The shifter knobs on these vehicles is installed very very tightly.

I have never been able to remove one without ruining it by tearing the cover, which should not be a big issue since you're replacing it.

The knob threads on like a nut would (lefty-loosy, righty-tighty). I use a large set of channel-lock pliers and they are still tough to break loose.
