Hard city driving during the hot summer can and will cause a bit of oil usage. 1 qt in 500 miles is not excessive. If you recently changed oil and are using a different brand this also can cause a bit of oil usage, due to the engine getting used to it. Add to full and keep a good ck on it, it should level out. if not check your air filter, pvc valve, and any vaccume hoese.

Useing oil but does't leak or smoke

Always low? even if you have an oil change? If it's low at oil change, the mechanics don't say anything? Do you do it yourself? Do you change the filter yourself? The filter "absorbs" a half quart or so, if that is your perceived always low. Perhaps you have the wrong dipstick for measuring oil level? Otherwise, if you have oil in your Cooling fluid you have a head gasket problem between oil channels and cooling fluid. Greater failure may be eminent.

How many kilogram of oil engineneeds a Nissan murano 2004?

In the United States we don't use Kilograms as a measure of oil we use Quarts. Your country uses Litres wherever you are! THe MUrano uses 5 quarts of oil...you convert it to litres and you get .95 litres = one quart. Just use 5 quarts and all will be OK.

Car started started loosing power and making funny noises 1 month ago, had someone check it out and it was three quarts low on oil! Had oil change done at time, now a month later same thing happened...

excess use of oil is caused by only one thing a badly worn engine or one thats been hammered by a previous owner like a rental car or sales rep ,worn rings and valve guides are the main reasons for oil use ,ps whats a quart ?? whats that in proper measurements like how many litres and do not forget the trunk is called a boot .

The rear differential just started to hum,and now is making agrinding noise at low speeds.I cannot see any oil leak? how do I check the fluid level? What fluid is recommended

There will be a small (1/2 or 3/4") plug usually with a resessed 1/2" square drive about but just shy of half way up the rear pumpkin cover. Remove this plug and put your small finger in if you can't touch the fluid it is low. Usually a 90 weight gear oil but check your mnfg. specs. This will come in a gallon jug with a pump or a quart bottle with a pointed top. Fill pumpkin to hole.
