Look up into the bumper and see if you can access the fog light. The bulb should just twist out of the back. If not, the assembly should either pop forward or back to come out. I've heard though, that many santa fe's require the removal of the entire front bumper fascia just to get to the bulbs in which case you'd have to remove your headlights to get to the screws holding the bumper fascia on

Hyundai santa fe 2001 has no fog lights

I doubt if it is a serviceable part . I would just go to a wrecker that specialises in Hyundai and look for a car that was rear ended and get the part you want

I need the number of the light bulb that is in the fog lamp switch on the dash.

Bad news. There are no part numbers for those little internal bulbs inside the fog light switch or even the rear defroster switch. Mine have blown out on my 04 Santa Fe. I've been through several dealers here in Denver and all tell me that Hyundai does not offer those bulbs individually. You must buy the whole switch. I know that sucks. I'm now checking with salvage yards to pull switches out of salvaged Santa Fe's. Hope this helps!

What is the best way to replace a fog lamp bulb on a 2008 Santa Fe?

1. Turn tires away from car
2. There is a plastic covering in front of the wheel that usually goes around the wheel well. There are plastic thumb pins on the outer edges of this plastic covering. Remove the thumb pins and this plastic piece will come off.
3. Behind this you will find access to your fog lights.
4. Then you can remove the fog light by twisting the plastic cover (if it has one) or by twisting the bulb

Fog Light Replacement Hyundai Santa Fe

The above statement is GREAT!!! The wheel-well piece folds down across the area you need to be in. There are 2 screws to undo this part. Push it back and there is a cap that unscrews which holds the wires and socket he is talking about. Unscrew the cap, unscrew the wire and housing. The bulb comes out. You pull the wire harness off and install the new bulb. It has a triangular push-in and it has to go just right so take note of how it comes out. Also, being a halogen light bulb, do not touch the bulb with your hands - the oils will make it explode.

2007 Hyundai Santa Fe - Replacing fog light

hi have not had pleasure of this on santa fe yet? but will try to help dependant of which side o/s or n/s ? i would first remove the screws holding the front of the under engine plastic cover/shield and drop down sufficient to gain view/access? to the rear of fog lamp then if a cover is on? try turning anti clock to remove? or if rubber cover pull off? then the bulb and clip should be visible? unplug the wire from bulb then the spring clip holding bulb in place normally just sring the 2x top ends together and swing down/clear to remove bulb? refit new bulb correctly! pay attention to position old bulb positioned? then clip securely and re connect wire at this stage it would be best to ensure bulb works ?? before you re assemble all else? wish you luck and hope this helps with your problem ?

Changing fog light bulb

I just replaced the fog light bulb on my 2008 Azera. I went under the car and removed two screws from the protective shield. I pulled down the shield and reached up and turned the fog light socket and pulled it out of the housing, remembering which side the wires were on and removed the old bulb (Don't touch the new bulb with your hand) and replaced it with the new bulb. The job took less then 15 minutes
