It is in the engine bay next to the radiator cap. There are very few reasons where you ever need to go near it.

I have a 1996 grand cherokee. engine cranks but wont start. getting nothing on dashboard gauges and getting nothing but dashes on overhead digital gauges except temp. recently had new alternator put on. is...

More than likely needs a crank sensor, Try cranking with the crank sensor disconnected, you should not get the dashes in the cluster. The crank sensors take out the communication system of the vehicle

My 2001 Cherokee Sport has lost hazards and cruise control.

You are looking more so for relays, not fuses, check the hand book again under relays.

How do you remove the panel under the steering wheel on a 2001 Jeep cherokee sport

On column or under dash? Well, it pretty much dosen't matter...If you see screws underneath, remove them if not it likely snaps off and on.

1998 Jeep Cherokee Sport wont start

Try this first. With one of you under the car whack the starter with a hammer as the other of you turns the key t the start position and holds it there. No wimpy whacks here give it one or two good ones. If it is a bad starter it may start this way. If it does, a new starter motor is in your future. Very easy to change on a Jeep. If it doesn't work let me know and we will go further.

2001 cherokee sport

The heat control valve, this is the valve that allows hot engine coolant to flow into the heater core inside the dash , if its decective it will not open to let the coolant to flow.
The Thermostat if it is bad (stuck open) the car will not warm up and will also cause a no heat problem as well as many other issues.
Does the car warm up quickly and reach operating temp within about 5 min?
