sounds like you have a bad ground in the dash area or possibly the brake arm is contacting or rubbing a wire when you press on it. these wires problems are hard to find and take a lot of time. start by investigating the brake peddle area

you may need to check all your fuses just in case.also check to be sure the horns plugged in.if all this is good replace the horn itself under the hood.. hope this helps!!

I personaly would run amsoil 5w-30 or royal purple 5w-30. Those are a full synthetic and I can tell you from experience they are great. I run Royal Purple in my silverado and Amsoil in my cbr 600rr. Also, from independant studies done on Royal Purple and Amsoil they can go longer between oil changes then most oils. Royal Purple has been tested after driving 22,500 miles and still could be used if you wanted to leave it in the engine. I usually change mine around every 10,000 to 12,000 miles.

I'm going to guess that's it's just a two wire hook up. There's only two ways to hook it up. Try it one way and if the door locks when you press lock on the switch it's on there right, otherwise just reverse the wires.

have you checked to see if the choke is on? this light lets u know the choke has an open circuit, it is heated by stator wire from the alternator.

Are you getting power to the solenoid when you press lock/unlock? If you are, because of the age I would suggest looking at the door latch asm.'s. They are known to rust up and cause malfunctions.
