2007 honda CRV EX AWD 2.4l has OE Honda immobilization unit with 3 button ign. Key (Panic lock and unlock) and after market Viper remote start/Security System. Fob for it got lost ordered thru ebay 7135v. Worked for sometime, changed the battery, then it slowly deteriated to where its in a lot for three days and has completely shut down. All the instrument panel lights wont ligjt. Just a select few. The Green Key light does not light up and stay lit however I can't get the doors anymore to unlock or lock with the Honda key or the Viper fob well not crank it all now it was barely cranking but it was turning the motor over but a few people said it was the starter but I'm skeptical that it is however the fob that was ordered to eBay like I said was a 7135 V when I pulled the unit out underneath the dash the Box it is not a 7135 V it is a I believe 5130 so they don't match up so I've been trying for two days to pair a fob 471 35e and of course I've had problems for two days obviously because the two systems don't match up or I mean the Viper in the fob do not match up what do I need to do to get this thing going

SOURCE: My 2003 Honda CRV ...drivers side door does not

you may need to replace the door locking actuator, they do tend to go bad over times. does the driver side door lock automatic when using the lock button on the driver side. if you can lock and unlock the driver side door with a switch, my guess would not be the locking actuator, it might be in the remote locking module.

Testimonial: "Thanks for the help. everything relates back to the actuator.."

SOURCE: 2007 gmc yukon denali wont unlock w/ keyfob

Check the buttons.. I have an 06 Grand Prix with the Remote starter on the top and it seems that the conductor on the buttons worn out.. Take the keyfob apart, pull the rubber buttons off the chip, lick your finger and touch the place where the unlock (right side of the fob) would be. That should unlock your doors. I just did it with mine. I would just buy another fob on ebay and change the buttons out.. Hope this works

Only my driver side power door lock on my 2001 honda crv awd works with or without remote. All 3 other doors stopped working. Why?

Look in the owners manual to see if you have a child lock out switch or button. I have seen it where the child lock out prevented the locks and windows from operating, except on the driver side.

Car Alarm

sounds like the drivers side key switch has failed remove the interior door panel and there will be a switch attached to the back of the key lock cylinder or around there it should be two or three wires also check the door jamb wire harness where the door closes for any broken or damaged wires, use a vot meter and see if you get power or ground to the opposite side of the switch when you use the key to lock and unlock the door if nothing changes and there is power or ground! at this switch i would replace it, i don't think there is one but if the car has a passenger side key hole try to unlock the car from that side and see if you get the same problem -jeff
