My oasis z5 will turn left or right but won't go forward and shut off why

Have you checked the fluid level in the left side?

One of your bulbs is out. Turn your flashers on and walk around your vehicle to see witch one it is and replace it.

Make sure your steering wheel isn't locked. Sometimes a key won't turn until you jiggle the wheel while trying to turn the key.

I have exactly the same problem, and I'm searching for a solution. I think there's just one motor for forward-backward, and mine seems to be operating, because the left (inboard) track moves. The motor seems to have two cables that turn in a shaft from the motor... both of my cables seem to be turning. I think the problem is at the end of the shaft or the track is sticking... I can't move it by hand. Wish I could contact you directly.

Try starting in neutral. Gear sensor may be heating up and not registering park.

You have a faulty Brake Light Switch, and it is stuck on.

Replace your brakelight switch. Until you replace it, you could pull the breaker out of the fuse panel in order to keep your battery from dying.

the problem has to be in the linkage inside the transmission which means that you have to take into a mechanic to have them fix this because if you do not know how to take the transmission apart yourself is the reason why to take it to the nearest mechanic. Sorry
