Your plug is overloaded, get the next size larger plug. Overheating causes metal to soften, tight connections to loosen, loose connection offers resistance, resistance consumes power dissipated add heat.

More details would have been useful. Assuming you mean a spark plug keeps melting rather than the power plug of your coolbox or something else - the reason a spark plug melts is generally detonation and is often a prelude to serious engine damage.

Detonation can be caused by the engine running hot, an excessive buildup of carbon, fuel octane rating too low or the wrong heat range of spark plug being used - or any combination of these things.
Sediment buildup in parts of the cylinder block can cause potentially damaging cylinder hot spots.

I have put in new fuel pump for 1996 tahoe but, when i was about to connect the harness plug to fuel pump and noticed the plug was melted. So question is can i replace just the plug end or do i need to...

Just replacing the plug or terminal will be enough. Make sure to tighten the replacement very well. Loose contacts create high electrical resistance heating the plug or terminal. High temperature creates even more resistance heating even more the plug or terminal. This is the reason why it melts. Good luck.

I replaced the spark plugs & spark plug wires with new & noticed the wire was totally melted on the left side of the engine (if you are standing in front of the car) right next to the exhaust...

Sounds like the wire was touching the exhaust manifold and was melted by the heat. There is usually a plastic thing that you clamp the wires into that keeps them from touching the exhaust manifold.
If theres not one of those things on your car, then use a zip tie or a piece of wire to tie the spark plug wire away from the exhaust manifold onto something above the wire on the cylinder head, throttle cable or something like that.

Have 2003 cavalier....wire for shift selinoid melted and tranny wouldn't shift. Fixed the wire and now the car keeps blowing the transmition fuse. Have had it a various shops and no one can seem to...

Did you trace out the wire to check for more bare spots? There's a reason why it melted. It's also possible that when the wire melted, it did internal damage to the shift solenoid. It may need to be changed. Hope this helps.

03 trailblazer driver side headlight our replaced still not on

Check for melted wiring at socket. If aftermarket blue bulbs were used the plug will melt. You can but the plug with wiring and cut old one off.
