SOURCE: How to Change the taillight bulb 2002 Aerio standard model

You have to unscrew one or two screws (don't remember) to remove the whole light assembly (need the hatch or trunk open to access screws). The solution is work from outside the car not inside.

SOURCE: Hyundai 2006 Sonata high mount brake light.

the rear seat does NOT have to be removed in order to replace the stoplamp and/or its bulb.
you have to get into the trunk, and there are (2) philips screws holding the stoplamp secured to the package tray. the actual process takes about 15 minutes, because to do it right you have to actually get IN the trunk.

the price they charged you sounds about right if the price of the stoplamp is included, dealerships tend to overcharge for parts.

SOURCE: 3rd brake lamp in '07 Hyundai Sonata

you need a philips screwdriver and a flashlight, and a telescoping magnet is recommended.

the best way to do this would be to empty your trunk, and lay in the trunk on your back with your legs hanging out and your flashlight pointed up at your work.
inside the trunk directly under the stoplamp you should see a connector, disconnect that and you should see a philips screw. remove the screw.
this part is a little tricky, shine the light up and to the left so that you can see the fastener that holds the bulb into the lamp. take your screwdriver, and place the tip on the flat part that sticks off of the bulb socket and press, so that you can turn it. once the socket is released, remove the bulb socket & bulb with its wire completely.
next, about 2-3 inches to the left of the rectangle where you removed the bulb & socket you should see a hole that is covered with a black foam. remove the foam from the hole, look straight up and you will see another philips screw. remove it, i recommend using a magnet to pull it from its hole after you've loosened it almost all the way, but whatever you do, do NOT do NOT drop that screw. it is almost impossible to retrieve and if you dont, it will rattle.
once you have both screws removed, get out of the trunk and go into the backseat and lift the 3rd brakelamp assembly off of the package tray; it may need a little negotiation, but be patient, it will come out.
once you have the stoplamp assembly out of the car, take the bulb socket, it should have a long flat tip at the bottom. take a pair of dikes and cut that tip completely off. replace the bulb, and install the bulb & socket into the lamp assembly, and re-install the lamp from inside the car, slowly and carefully slding it back into place. (hint, the more of the flat tip that you cut off, the easier it will slide into place).

once the lamp is back in place, hook up the connector, and re-install the screws, and you're done.

How do you remove the rear speakers from a 2004 chevy impala?

Remove the rear seat. On later models remove the rear upper quarter panel by pulling down & out to disengage the retainer clips, then sliding the roof leg out from under the trim panel over the door. Detach the rear seat belts through the slot in the rear parcel shelf. Pry up the plastic clips securing the rear parcel shelf. Then lift up & out to remove it from the vehicle. Remove the speaker retaining screws or tabs. If the speaker seal has bonded with the metal shelf, hold the tabs & pry the housing away from the metal. Disconnect the electical connector & remove the speaker. Install in reverse order. Good luck!

Need to know location of gas filter

It is behind the rear seat cushion and the access panel. To do this open the rear doors on the 2005 Hyundai and locate the two main connector bolts that hold each rear seat in place. The two bolts are located under the front part of each rear seat. Remove the four bolts with a 3/8 inch ratchet and a 12mm socket. Turn the bolts counter-clockwise to loosen and remove the bolts. Slide the rear seats out of the seat compartment. Then slide the rear seats out of the car. If you want do some more intricate work like replacing the filter then follow this link.

Honda Accord brake light removal

It's a lot of work for just cleaning.
Fold the rear seat down and remove the two 12mm bolts on the bottom corners of the seat back, pull the seat out.
Between the seat bottom and the carpet you will find two tabs you need to pull and then pull the seat bottom up and out of the car.
Remove the two 10mm bolts securing the seat bolsters to the area the seat bottom was covering. Pull the seat bolsters up and out of the car.
Pop the "C" pillar trim off of the car (above the parcel shelf and beside the rear glass) (side airbag vehicles have a slightly different procedure.)
Pull up on the parcel shelf carefully and evenly. Remove clean and put everything back together.

Changing Rear Speakers in a 1996 a4.

First remove the rear seat bottom cushion (grab the front edge roughly in the center of each seat position and pull up firmly, and it'll unclip and come out). Then fold down the rear seatbacks. Now, the side bolsters for the seats (between the seatbacks and the doors) have to come off. First, pull down strongly near the bottom (there's an upward-facing hook there that clips onto a ring and holds the bottom in place). Pull down and forward and it'll come off. Then slide your hand about 75% of the way up, and pop the bolster straight forward to pop out a retaining clip. Finally, you can remove the top of it from its mount, and you'll have the bolster out. Repeat for the other side.

Go into the trunk and look up at the bottom of the rear shelf. The harness plug for the third brake light is there - unplug it.

Now, back in the rear seat area, just grab the front edge of the parcel shelf and lift upward to pop it loose, and the whole thing will slide forward. Then you can remove your speakers.

Install is the reverse of disassembly.
