The brake lights are routed through the signal light switch.
Looks like that will be the next switch to replace and the problem.

Dodge ram 1500 wiring diagram

Three places to look. 1) Brake lamp fuse, 2) Turn signal switch and 3) the brake pedal switch. Brake light power comes from the fuse up to the turn signal switch down to the brake lite switch on the brake pedal and then on to the light bulbs. Start by putting the 4 way flasher on. If the brake lites flash, then the bulbs are good. That eliminated the fuse too. so the problem is the other two.

Brake lights dont work

Check the brake light switch, it is down on the brake pedal lever, you can dis-connect the wire connector at the brake light switch and check for broken wires at the connector, and then jumper the connector with a paper clip, if the brake lights come on then replace your brake light switch.

There might be more than one switch attached to the brake light pedal lever, the brake light switch usually only has two wires going to it when there are two switches.

If there is no problem with the brake light switch then you can suspect the turn-signal switch to be at fault, as all of the running lights, turn-signals, brake lights, and hazard lights are all ran through the turn-signal switch. You can also try stepping on the brake pedal and wiggle around the turn-signal switch and see if the brake lights flicker or come on.

My brake lights wont come on on my 2003 chevy impala

Some cars have two brake switches under the dash. Try manually pushing the button on the switch while someone looks at the brake lights. It may just need adjusted. Good luck. Please rate me so I know how I'm doing. Thanks.

Brake lights don't work. Fuse is good, bulb is good, but brakes still won't come on. GMC Sonoma 1994.

please check your brake light switch located near the brake pedal. it could be faulty.
