Did you bleed the system? When you replace the the master and/or slave cylinder you have to bleed the system just as you would with brakes. There is a bleed screw on the slave cylinder. Open the bleed screw, have a helper depress and hold the clutch pedal down.Tighten the bleed screw, then release clutch. Repeat this procedure until you have removed all air from the system and the clutch pedal is firm. Keep an eye on the fluid level to avoid sucking air into the system. If you have done this, remember there is a possibility that the master or slave cylinder is defective.

Clutch pedal goes to the floor but when i pump it it will come back

bad mc clutch
bad slave clutch.
can be either or both,
the hydralic clutch actuator has no adjustment other suz, older had cables, its no cable system as other states.
its auto adjusting
1: is Dot3/4 fluid leaking on either side of MC (clutch master cylinder)
2: is dot3/4 fluid leaking from the slave?
bingo fail for either leaking.
if no leaks the MC is bad, or not full of fluid.
3: does the fluid drop each weak, ( bingo for leaks)

Hi, my clutch stays to the floor. does the master or the slave push pedal up?

the clutch pressure plate return springs pushes the fluid back up the line through the slave and then the master to return the pedal. Both the Slave and the Master should be replaced at once.

Clutch pedal stays to the floor and car is now stuck in neutral. Can raise the pedal with hand but will not raise on it's own

clutch hydralics is gone, meaning you have a leak, check clutch master cylinder, see if its empty, if so refill and pump pedal sevarel time may have to lift by hand sometimes then look for a leak, most times it the slave cylinder, thats what pushs clutch fork to disengage clutch. hope this is helpful good luck.

Clutch pedle stays down

if you have a hydralic clutch usually the pedal staying on the floor indicates air in the clutch lines. if so check 4 leaks at the filler and at the slave cylinder. however just bleeding the clutch system may temporarily fix your issue

Clutch pedal won't disengage clutch

make sure fluid is full... then pump the pedal with it NOT RUNNING as many times really fast as you can.. try it after that, if it works then you need either a clutch MASTER cyliner and/or a SLAVE cylinder.. MOST likely being the slave cylinder. if the pumping action doesnt cause it to disengage then you have a burnt out clutch. The system is hydralic and takes regular DOT3 brake fluid in the small resevoir under the hood next to the brake master cylinder...
The slave cylinder being bad would mean you have to removed the transmission and install a new slave cylinder... thats the most common issue with those around that mileage...
