#1. Scan for trouble codes. If any, record them and let us know which ones they are.
#2. Connect a fuel gauge to the fuel delivery line at the engine... try to start the engine while monitoring fuel pressure... if there is fuel pressure (approx 35 to 50 lbs), the problem is elsewhere.
If no fuel pressure, check fuel pump relay, fuse, wiring to fuel pump connector (power & ground - use 12volt test light). If power & ground are present, problem is the pump (fuel filter is attached to the fuel pump inside the tank).
#3. Check injectors for injector pulse, check ignition coils for spark to spark plugs.

Understood. When the timing belt broke, the valves got bent and aren't sealing anymore. Looks like a head job is in order.

Hi, I've an accent crdi 2003. In mornings engine

I would check the catlic converter to see if its not blocked, best thing to do is to go to a exhaust shop and they can do vacume test or tempreature test.

I have a 2001 Hyundai Accent 1.6L. While driving it wil die, there is no spark but all the fuel pressure is fine. After it cools down it starts and drives for about 5-10 miles then dies again.

This sounds to me like an intermittent crankshaft sensor problem. Did your CHECK ENGINE light come on? Crankshaft sensors sometimes flicker this way before they completely die, sometimes they don't. I think you may have a flickerer. Have the code checked at your local Advanced Auto or Auto Zone. The part is only about $30.00. GOOD LUCK.

The engine crank but it wont start, when we are traveling the vehicle lose its power. we check the fuel pump and it dose not work, still wont start

Thanks for choosing FixYa and welcome. I am assuming the fuel pump works. If it doesn't, check the pump, fuses, and relay. Check your fuel pump button if you have one. This vehicle is new so you may have an electrical issue. Is the check engine light on? If so, you need to have the computer scanned. Many things can cause the engine to not start. If could be fuel related. Check your fuel pressure to make sure it is normal. If it is not, check your fuel filter, lines, and injectors. It may be the ignition system, such as plugs/coils, wires, distributor, coil packs, distributor cap. You need fuel, fire, and air to start the car. I don't know how many miles you have, but if it is up there, you need to check the plugs, coils, ect. I need to know miles, if your check engine light is on. It could be the starter, starter solenoid, or ignition module. Post back so I can help you. Thanks.

Replaced fuel filter on 2000 Hyundai Accent, now the car dies more often.

I would make sure the Arrow on the fuel filter is going in the right direction. The arrow on the fuel filter should be going towards the engine away from the fuel tank,

If you are sure the fuel filter is on correctly. Check for leaks,

The next step would be to change out the fuel pump. The pump could be on it way out.
Low pressure or intermittently no pressure .
