Elantra/Sonata mirror controls switch is most likely cause. Play with the switch by moving it back and forth between LH & RH a couple of dozen times, then try it again. If it starts to work, the problem is intermittent contact in the control switch. If not, you'll need to check for any problems in the wiring between the switch and the mirror connector pins. If you don't find any problem with the wiring or connections, the problem is in the mirror itself.

you can buy just the heated mirror with a ring to clip it onto the existing mount,its just a push fit.simply connect the 2 wires and push it in the MIDDLE of the glass to pop it back on.(or you could steal one from another car......yes i know,thats how she lost hers.is it a left hand for the first offense?)take NO notice of me,in England that's an everyday occurrence. )

How do you install turn signal lens on side mirrors on a 2005 F250?
- Adjust the mirror so the mirror glass is in as far as it will go (meaning if you were looking in the mirror you would see the side of the truck)

- Look inside the mirror housing
- Locate silver clip
- Using a flat screw driver, push the clip in
- Lenses will pop out on the outside
- Remove bulb
- Replace bulb
- Snap back together when new bulb in place.

Replacing passenger side mirror and casing
you need to remove the trim pannel parallel to the mirror on the inside of the vehicle, normally triangle shaped, from there there will be 3-4 nuts or bolts you need to remove, once that is done the mirror will be free to be removed.

The problem can be the switch, mirror, or wiring. Assess the missor connector to see if voltage is coming to the connector when you try to adjust the mirror. If you are getting voltage, replace the mirror. If not, check the wiring, especially any additional connectors inside the door.
