    There is no diagram under the hood most cars do have this but not this one. Had to rent a book but needed a special tool to remove the motor mount ended up having to take it to a shop. I have never had so much troule changing a belt before.

I found the diagram in my owner's manual.
I replaced the belt on mine just 2 days ago. All you need to do is remove one bolt from the lower motor mount and remove the spacer. After you relieve the belt tensioner, the belt will slip right through the gap. Don't forget to support the engine before removing the bolt. As a backup I took a photo of the belt with my digital camera beforehand... just in case.

Easy job on those vehicles. Usually need a wrench that fits over the belt tensioner, and you raise or lower it, taking tension off the belt. then just slip it off the nearest pulley-often the alternator pulley. Now you can let go of the tensioner and remove belt. Notice how it is fit. There should be a diagram on a sticker of how the belt fits on.

Replacing serpentine accessory belt. Is it necessary to remove motor mounting brace to remove and install new serpentine belt?
From my understanding I think you have to remove the motor mount and mount the engine to remove it because I have been asking different mechanics about the serpintine belt on my 1998 Buick Lasabre.

I want a diagram of a serpentine belt for a 97 buick lasabre
The Belt Diagram should be on the underside of your hood, however they have a way of disappearing.

If it is not there:

Diagram of 1997 buick lasabre serpentine belt Trying to replace belt but dont have an owner's manual!!
The diagram should be on a sticker somewhere in the engine bay (check upper radiator supports, underside of the hood, plastic panels, strut towers, anything) it will be there unless the sticker is damaged or removed.
