Try Turn your vehicle on, while its on unhook the alarm box from behind the dash. if you attempt to do this without the vehicle on it will not work. an other solution would be to ground the purple and yellow wire on the drivers side door

To disable the factory anti-theft in this vehicle the programming in the ECM needs to be changed, the only computers capable of this are at dealerships.

This is a normal condition and refer at anti-theft system when the battery was disconnected; just check the disarm procedure in the owners manual. Pay attention because is possible that the audio system ask the unlock codes.

Hope this helps.

Important: Due to component variability, the vehicle theft deterrent (VTD) system must have the learn procedure performed regardless, if the vehicle starts on the first ignition cycle after a VTD repair.
All codes in the theft deterrent module must be cleared for a relearn.

When starting the engine, the PCM searches for a password from the BCM through the Class 2 serial data circuit. If the password is not recognized or not present, the PCM will disable the engine. Two modes of tamper detection are provided:
• No password received
The engine will start and stall quickly. SECURITY telltale will flash on the instrument panel cluster (IPC) and then stay ON steady.
• Incorrect or disable password received (More than 3 invalid passwords are received)
The engine is disabled for at least 10 minutes and the SECURITY telltale will illuminate solid on the IPC during the 10 minutes.
After the vehicle has passed theft detection, the PCM will continue normal operation.

Pcm trouble codes.

You can either use a auto scan tool to clear the code's, or you can unplug the battery negative cable, if you have a anti-theft system you may have problem's after disconnecting the battery?

1992 chevy corvettecranks but doe's not start.fuel pump not working but good.fuse good doe's not have power to fuse at all.

The built in factory anti-theft system disables the fuel pump if it is triggered, or this can be caused by a fault in the anti-theft, those are a few of the reasons, arm and dis-arm anti-theft is it working properly? Follow this procedure to check security system:

The Security System is reset by unlocking the driver's door twice with the Ignition Key, but if it does not reset, most likely the Ignition Lock Cylinder has failed. It has small contacts which 'sense' the pellet on the key and transmits that data to the Anti-theft Module. Often the contacts, or the micro wires, break causing the module to think you have no key in there. The ASR may be illuminating since the Security System is active, trouble codes?
