THATS NOT TRUE...IF YOU LOOK IN YOUR OWNERS MANUAL......MANUFACTURE ONLY REQUIRES THE OIL TO BE CHANGED ONCE A YEAR!!!!!!....THE EVERY 3000-5000 MILES ROUTINE IS JUST A SHOP COST TO GET YOUR MONEY. ON ANY AND EVERY VEHICLE THE OIL BREAKS DOWN THE SAME IN THE SAME AMOUNT OF TIME. 1 TIME A YEAR IS RECCOMENDED BY DEALER....AUTO SHOPS, JUST MAKE MONEY OFF YOU EVERY 3000-5000 MILES.

Grand vitara transmission

There is nothing you can do about it now, if the transmission is damaged or the fluid is dark and smells burnt you have big problems coming up in the near future.

Changing manual transmission oil in 2003 grand vitara?

it has a drain plug and a filler plug but you should never need to change the oil ,but the oil to use is EP90 hypoid oil as gearbox has helical cut gears which need exteme pressure oil .a top up yes maybe but change the oil in a manual box is not something anyone does ,yes i know its in the 100.000 mile service check list but no one ever does it in a garage .because by this time the vehicle needs a new clutch and you have to drain the oil to do the clutch

I have a Suzuki Grand vitara 2007/2008 petrol 5 door model requireing a 3 year service can you let me have any details of the work I should be carring out. Suzuki have quoted me £260 and I'm not sure...

The price seems to cover change of oil - filter - check of brakes etc. If Suzuki has done the work - you can rely on the service done.
If I were you I would ask Suzuki what has been done.

Hi, i'm driwing suzuki Grand Vitara 2.0 year 2007. it has been moving for about 50000 Kilometer and i'm planning to change the timing belt. i'm looking for the code of the timing belt so i could buy it...

All parts stores can get you the right belt with info about your truck. Year, make, model, engine size. Also spring for the complete belt or bearing kit. This is not a do it yourself task.
