1991 Camaro RS v-6 will start but dies almost immediately

About a monthe ago I drove my car to work and when I came out a couple of hours later it wouldn't start. I finally got it to start, drove to the gas station because I thought that might have been the problem. Made it about 1 minute down the road and the car died. Had the vehicle towed home and the next day it started fine but I didn't drive it. 3 weeks later it started just fine, I ran it in park for 15 minutes and it sounded great. Started driving down the road and as soon as I nailed the gas it died and now will start but dies immediately. About two weeks before this began it died as I was driving then started back up and acted like nothing had happened. I'm thinking fuel filter or crud in the injectors? Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Keep it simple and replace the fuel filter first, if thr fiiler has not been replaced within 30,000 miles or 1 year. Then it's a good chance that it's going to be the fuel filter.

1992 Roadmaster Estate 5.7 liter dies for no reason.

You need to have someone with a scantool check the sensors. I've had coolant temp sensors read -43F which tells the computer to dump more gas essentially flooding the engine.

91 RS dying

First off, I think you bought a raft of stuff you didn't need on that repair job! The sound of it at this time is that probably the fuel pump is about gone. You need to measure the fuel pressure (engine running) at the fuel rail (the test port looks like a tire valve) above the injectors. The pressure should be in the 45 to 55 PSI range. If the pump is toast, it will be much lower. The pump resides in the fuel tank. You probably have the check engine light on. If the code(s) are read out with a scanner, it will likely point to the fuel pump.

Car dies while driving

Look at the battery cables. Sometimes if the ground wire is loose, it wil display the same symptoms that you have described to me. If they are tight and free of corrosion then look towards the ignition relay or key switch. Key switch would be a likely candidate. Keep me posted please.

91 Cressida won't start

Lead acid batteries can "die" catastrophically. This is actually not all that uncommon. If the battery is new, it should be under warranty. I would take it back, and have them test it. It it fails, which I believe it will, then there is the problem. If it passes, then your alternator is probably bad. The chances of it being your alternator are slim as you did jump the car off, and drive it for a while. If the battery is too weak to start the car, it will not maintain vehicle operation very long without help from the alternator.
