Peugeot 307 Fob does not open car every now and then
My wifes car - Every now and then the fob does not open the car and when she tries to open the car with the keys the alarm goes off......and it's my fault!

put key in icnition turn on but don"t start engine,press door lock and hold for a few seconds,then turn off,key fob should now work,if not try again,also make sure you have the correct battery in key fob.
If you have replaced the battery and the ecu wasn't in sleep mode, then you'll lose the synchronisation between immobiliser and fob. go to peugeot dealer or call out a car locksmith who then can reprogram your fob with car ecu. I have read the method in internet but not sure what the steps were. you can google it may be you'll find it.
