up to 1994 Previa's the cam sensors are located in the distributor, there is one for each cam. labeled G1 & G2 which are the center 2 of the 4 wires to the distributor, if you want to test them first.
Also, top wire is crank sensor, bottom is ground.

I believe you will have to replace the whole distributor.

If the eng. Is cranking over could be spark or fuel or antitheft is enabled is the antitheft light on or is there an aftermarket alarm antitheft device installed on vehicle?if you have a key fob try changing the battery in fob.

2. If you really want to fix it... check the line, load with graphite as per manual.

hey there,yeh its under the steering wheel column under the dash..it should have a 4 pin plug in it,,,,disconnect the connection to see if it has 4 pins,if it has thats it...ull get 1 in a breakers yard for about a fiver....
