How to Remove a 6-Disc CD Changer in a Honda Odyssey

If one of the discs slipped off its tray and got jammed, you will have to take the cd changer out of the car and dislodge the jammed cd.
I had this happen a few years back and the guys at the auto parts store helped me remove it for free.

Either the unit's motor is bad or the mechanical parts are dirty not allowing the unit to change CD's or load them.

Before connecting any cables you must set the dip switch box to the position listed for your vehicle. If you set the dip-switches after you have connected cables to the box, you must disconnect and reconnect them for the changer to operate. All 1992-2004 Honda's are compatible with the Neo Changer except the 2003 and 2004 Honda Accord and all Honda Element vehicles. Some radio models require pressing "Seek >" once to start playing after changing CD or after startup. The radios display will not show the proper disc number after disc six. You can use all 10 discs in the magazine, but the readout will be wrong. This is not a technical problem; the car stereo was designed for no more than six discs. *Due to the direct access disc system, you will not be able to directly access discs 7-10. To access these discs you will have to go to the last track on disc 6 and let it play until it loads disc #7. ( you can fast forward the track, but you must let it play the last 5 seconds of the track, for it to change to disc # 7 Switch to the Neo Changer by pressing the "CD" button. I have a 2002 honda accord with the 6 disc cd changer. I beleve the cd changer has jamed and have lost power to the CD player. When I press the CD button it wont recognise the player. Any suggestions

you can easly do it you self u will just need a radio code to enter when u r all done so done forget to right down the numbers on the radio u r putting in and call ur local honda dealer for the code

Look on the side of the glove compartment, there is a sticker with numbers, that is your code. In general, the number from 1 to 6, so you simply enter your code by using the existing buttons.Hope this help.
