This happened to me, all you have to do is open the drivers door, insert the key into the ignition, turn the ignition on, off, on, off, on, off, now remove the key and press the lock button on the remote and the car should lock. Be sure to check the other remote, it may have been knock off. If so repeat the steps above for each remote.

I hope this helps.

I need the keyless entry programming code for my 01 Audi A4 Quattro 1.8T Note: Driverside lock doesn't work with regular key, and is the only lock on the entire car.

That isn't how it works, you must have the dealer reprogram the whole system to correct this if the loss of program is the cause. You can't do it at home it requires a special tool to go int the control modules programing option.

I have damaged the keyless remote to my 2005 Audi A4. Can you tell me what to do in order to open the doors and trunk? Thanks

some remotes there is a tab you slide and a key pops out for the drivers door incase your battery dies. check if yours does this otherwise it looks like a trip to your Audi dealer for a new remote of if your lucky you can find a used one and programming instructions for it but then your left with the problem of getting the doors open to get in and program it with a key.

I just bought a 2003 audi a4 quattro 3.0. The low fuel symbol flashes even after I filled up the tank. Also the outside door is not locked...is there a button to lock/unlock the fuel access door? Thx

I recently picked up an 2001 Audi and the dealer told me that this is one of the most common questions. You have to double press the unlock button of your keyless entry pad to unlock all doors including the fuel access door. Perhaps you are checking the fuel access door while all doors are unlocked?

I just replaced the battery in my 2003 audi a4 quattro. Now when I turn on the car the light for the ESP system wont turn off. In the owners manual it tells me that I have to reset the engine management...

Try taking the car to an Audi dealer to reprogram the key.In some cases, depending on the country it was imported from ,it may take several attempts at programming to get it right.Your Audi dealer should do this at no charge. As for removing the battery, always clamp an alternate 12v source to the car cables so the vehicle does not lose a 12v source when changing batteries. These are complicated cars. You need to recode some systems after total loss of 12v.Once again the dealers will help.
Cheers

Fitting a mongoose keyless entry system

It's doubtful, but your best bet would be to consult with a dealer of Mongoose products, an independent stereo shop, or search the various Audi owners' forums (www.audiforums.com, www.audizine.com, etc) - chances are someone there has a similar system and may be able to help you out.
