MY TAIL LIGHTS STAY ON.EVEN WITH IGNITION IS OFF.HOW DO I FIX THAT?

Brett,

Likely it is a brake light that is on. Brake lights can actuate with the ignition off, usually by pressing the brake pedal. Test the lights, brake and turn signal circuits, but my bet is a brake light switch out of adjustment.

I have no break lights or turn signals

Turn signal tail lights and BRAKE LIGHTS NOT WORKING

It can be faulty brake light switch causing the problem or its blown brake light bulb. First check and confirm brake light lamp is working and that's not the case.

For turn signal not working it can be faulty turn signal switch or its issue with wiring:----

How do I replace the entire tail light on a 1987 honda civic dx?

if the panel is not damaged or only slightly damaged it should just be a case of removing the damaged tail light and fitting the new one, if all electrics work I would leave the socket

Honda civic ex 2001 parking brake light stays on then goes off

Replace rear brake pads. If that doesn't help, remove the plastic console around the parking brake lever and adjust the pull on the lever. It's probably so loose that it's trigger the light.

This is not normal, looks like someone accidentally drove several miles with the brake on.

My tail lights stay on when I turn car off and put in park which is killing my battery, also my brake lights do not come on when i press brake pedal I checked fuses and they are good. I bought a stop light...

It sounds like your brake pedal switch is not working right. Are the lights on all the time, or just when you turn ignition off? If the former, it is bad brake switch. If the latter, you likely have a bad ground located somewhere in the wiring harness.

Most vehicles have the switch located on a small plate next to the brake pedal arm. Follow the pedal up the arm and to the firewall. Along the way you should see a plunger style switch that looks like the one that you bought. It might also be found inside or next to the brake booster under the hood.

Tail lights stay on when car is off

Check this 1st.With the car running, turn on the headlights. If the taillight gets brighter,it's the brakelight that is staying on.Turn the headlights off to see if that then makes it less bright. If so.try lifting the brake pedal up.If the taillights go out,it is the brakelight sensor switch that is hooked up to the brake pedal. This is a small pushswitch, located at the top of the brake pedal in the inside of the car.It will have 2 wires connected to it.It either needs adjusting or is faulty.Hope this helps

2001 Explorer Sport ,Rear Driver Brake Light and Turn Sig. Broke

Rear lights are double filament bulbs one side for the lights other side for the brake/turn signals so it still may be a bulb. Do u have a test light or volt meter you can check to make sure u have power there when brakes or turn signals are activated. Or just try another bulb.
