There is no dip stick to check trans fluid level on my 98 Kia Sephia.. How do I check the trans fluid levels?
Hi,
A little more info is needed... I'm assuming your car is an automatic transmission.
So the dip stick is missing? Or can you not find the location of the dipstick? The owner's manual will help you to locate it. If it is missing from the tube, I would recommend calling an auto salvage yard to get another one.
If your auto is a standard transmission, you can have the oil checked by a mechanic if you suspect it is low... rare, unless it's leaking.
Hope this helps...
The transmission fluid needs to be replaced and checked at a transmission shop or the dealer. In the manual is the information you need to when the transmission is due for service to keep your car running 100% and to keep the warranty valid. Good luck and hope this helps.

It is a standard trans.. I went out and looked again and if it was a snake, it would have bit me on the nose..
Thank you for your quick response! But I did find the Dip stick..
