I believe left to right from the front of your car would be the norm. Ask someone from an auto parts store to give you a print out of the ignition coil firing order

Yes i have a 96 chevy lumina i changed the plugs and i think i may have switch the wires but dont know where they go directly

From standing in front of car and facing engine:

3.1L and 3.4L OHV V-6: The cylinder location is from left to right (rear cylinders) 1,3,5
(front cylinders)2,4,6

The coil terminals from left to right: 5,2,3,6,4,1
Firing order 1,2,3,4,5,6

3.4L DOHC V-6: The cylinder location is from left to right (rear) 1,3,5 (front) 2,4,6
The coil terminals are from front to rear 5,2,3,6,4,1

1-2-3-4 on coil is what cylinder that coil post represents. standing in front of car pass side is your left driver side right. from left 1-2-3-4 connect wires 1 to 1 2 to 2 so on chad_dark.gif

There are six VIN numbers of engines for the 1991 Buick Lesabre, with a 3.8 Liter engine.

1.Vin B
2.Vin 3
3.Vin C
4.Vin 1
5.Vin L
6.Vin K

All have the Firing Order of 1-6-5-4-3-2

For Vin B and 3:
Hood open, looking at the engine from the front of the car. The coil pack is behind the engine, close to the firewall. (Under the windshield)
The crankshaft pulley is down on the left side.

Spark plug numbering, for the spark plugs close to the radiator side.
From Left; (Front of engine), going Right-> 1-3-5
Spark plug numbering, for spark plugs on the backside of the engine.
From Left going Right-> 2-4-6

The distributorless coil pack sits on the backside of the engine, close to the firewall.
Numbering of where to put the spark plug wires;
There are three spark plug towers close to the engine. From Left to Right -> 3-5-7
There are three spark plug towers far from the engine. From Left to Right-> 6-4-2

For Vin C, 1, L and K:

Hood open, facing the car.
The Front of the engine faces to the Right. The crankshaft pulley is down, and to the Right.

Spark plugs close to the radiator;

The distributorless coil pack sits on the right side, in front of the engine. (The Front of the engine is on the right side. The crankshaft pulley is on the Right side)

I think the firing order is not correct on my 89 beretta V6

firing order for the 2.8 and 3.1 engines is 1 2 3 4 5 6. if you got plugs wires out of place left from right of coil pack..this is where your wires will go from coil pack to plugs.1 4 6 3 2 5 . now looking at your engine.rear cylinders left from right is 1 3 5 your front cylinder left to right is 2 4 6 now firing order for 2.0 - 2.2L - 2.3 engines is 1 3 4 2 . looking at 2.3 engine left to right cylinders is 1 2 3 4 .now the 2.0 2.2L engine cylinders left to right is 4 3 2 1.if you got coil wires mixed up.looking at coil pack facing you first would be 1 4 3 2 .this is the cylinders wires will go.
