Check the autozone.com website and register the car there. It doesn't cost anything and you will have access to an online repair manual for the car. The steps for replacing the struts should be available there. Hope this helped and best wishes.

Changing struts Toyota corolla 1995 front and rear

hello.well to be honest with you,if you don't have the proper equipment to do the job,i would have a professional do it.if one of the springs come loose from the spring compressor, you can get hurt very badly or even death can occur.these springs are compressed very much and if one happens to come loose it can take a persons head off.i am sorry for saying it like this, but i want you to know what are some of the real consequences with this job ok.i hope you take this into consideration before attempting to do this job ok. take care and good luck, manny

Struts - Frt & Rear need replacing - 1995 Corolla - Special tools required?

you will need a good coil spring compressor(you can rent one at your local auto parts store),a good set of hand tools,(an air compressor would make it alot easier). Also you need to be extremely careful the springs are under a lot of pressure and can cause severe injury to your person if not removed properly.Lastly a good manuel that shows the break down and gives step by step instructions would be helpful.

I want to replace the rear struts on my 2003 Toyota Corolla. Removing the large bottom bolt is easy but how do I access the top part of the strut??

You will have to remove the rear seat.Go to the bottom cusion in the front and yank it up,about a foot in from the outside on each side.Once it out there are some bolts on the bottom of the back rest cusion remove those and push it up and remove. Then you cen get to three nuts on each strut top.
