There is no external fuel filter on this model. Chrysler stopped using fuel filters on most models in 2003.

1. Set the crankshaft sprocket at TDC by aligning the sprocket with the arrow on the oil pump housing.
2. Set the camshafts timing marks so that the exhaust camshaft sprocket is a 1 / 2 notch below the intake camshaft sprocket.
3. Use an Allen wrench on the tensioner. Rotate the tensioner counterclockwise while pushing on the wrench until it slides into the locking hole.

Your battery is located in the front fender well. You have to removethe tire and inner fender skirt to access it.

PCM IS LOCATED IN THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT NEXT TO AIR FILTER HOUSING.

Unfortunately the fuel filter is a part of a module (one unit) along with the fuel pump and are located on top of the fuel tank. Auto Zone told me that you have to lower the fuel tank and possibly rear suspension to get to it. Also this module runs about $175.00 just for the parts minus labor. Hope this helps.

sound like it could be fuel. pump or timeing belt. if you put a new fuel filter in be sure to replace the fuel filter
