Try taking out the back seat maybe there's space for you to get in and release the lock this is what I think you mean doesn't open with the key

Replace with a new or used one.

You will need to try from the inside. Sometimes pushing the lid 'more' shut works too!

Remove the bulb if you think it runs the battery down. the switch is part of the latch assembly of the trunk.

Where is the fuel pump relay on a 1987 ford Thunderbird

It is attached to the trunk support panel, directly behind the trunk lid hinge. It may be easier to get to by taking out the rear seat back cushon.

What can cause transmission on 1964 Thunderbird not to shift from 2nd to 3rd for about 5 minutes, After that everything is fine.

Really dirty tranny fluid. As it gets warm, the viscosity (resistance to flow) lessens; the fluid gets more watery. When that happens, it can lubricate the gears and other parts more easily. When it's cold, the fluid is probably too thick and sluggish to move.

only the dealership can reprogram it but before you do that look under the trunk lid there should be a sticker with a 4 to 6 digit code if still dosent work needs to be reset

go inside the trunk on the same side as the out side gas door look at that area inside the trunk their will be back up release to open the fuel lid.
