Any one know how to remove the center console in a 06-07 Sonata? I am trying to get to the wiring behind the 12V accessory plug.

There are a few ideas here. The car shouldn't start in neutral, it should only start in Park and with foot on the brake. The are a number of sensors, switches and modules that make this happen. Take it to the dealership.

Hot or cold engine ? or doesn't matter ? A few thing's could , fuel related problems , MAP or MAF sensors , coolant temp sensors , crank , cam sensors . Is the money light on ? (check engine ) $$$$$

no inertia switch or fuel switch--fuses or relays ---to test the fuel pump easiest is to spray starter fluid if it fires you have a fuel problem if doesn't fire look into ignition [ spark]

Could be a fuel problem. I would have someone check fuel pressure before and after cranking the engine. You may be loosing some fuel pressure back into the tank when the engine is off.

look for spark and gas

Dealer.

Next time just disconnect the battery until you get it towed as this is a warranty item. I'll bet some wondered if this was a prank question like I did, right?

They have had problems with bad fuel pumps.
