Try getting a chilton's manual from the parts store might have to order it for this truck but the give very good schematics in them for the wiring and vacuum systems.

I have a 1993 isuzu pickup and because of the design of the carburator and the polution control there are so many vacum lines that without the air filter the vacum, is off just a tip I had lost my air filter cover and was having carburator problems I bought a new weber carburator came with its own air filter was able to plug up alot of the vacum lines runs alot better better gas mileage was only 270 on ebay if it's not running right check the vacum hose's hope that helps good luck
Just find a vacume hose that has vacume to it when you accelarate with car running pull a vacume hose off from carburator check by putting your finger or a vacume gage to it to see if you got vacume if not accelarate the carb by pushing accelarator (left side of carb driver side) if you have vacume when you accelarate you can use that vacume line
You do not need to connect the three vacume hoses to the EGR just find one that has vacume to it upon accelaration with the car running pull a vacume hose off the carburator with a vacume gage or your finger check to see if you got vacume if not accelarate carb if you do connect vacume line to EGR
there are 4 vacum lines one goes to ur tran and one goes to ur throt and one goes to ur brake buster and the other one just pluged off but check all niples that come off the carb
I found this diagrham, by what I read, be very careful NOT to rotate any pulleys when the belt is off and put little arrows on the pulleys and belt in the same spots and flowing in the same direction to aid yourself when it is being replaced.
As I know there is a vacume pipe from engine to carburetor, this vacume pipe is installed on top of engine cover to under carburetor (between carburetor and the inteke manifold).
hi,it sounds like a vacum leak,that makes the engine rpm go up and down.( check all the vacum hoses around the engine )you can check the leaks by sprayng carburator cleaner close to the vacum lines,if there are any leaks the rpms will increase imediatly. good luck....
