SOURCE: fridge and freezer not staying cold

There should be a circuit board on the inside of your refrigerator behind the plastic panel it's a switch that tells the refrigerator to get cold. I had mine replaced it cost about 150.00. Hope this helps.

SOURCE: water seepage at the bottom or floor of freezer

You will want to check the rear of the fridge. There is an access panel there you can remove. Once removed, you can then check the drain hose and evaporator tray. There should be some water in the evap tray, if not, then the drain hose is plugged and causing water to run on floor.

OUR MODEL #GHEFE29HSDASS AND SERIAL #TZ501122 HAS THE REFIGERATOR TEMPERATURE OF 55* AND THE FREEZER IS GOOD AT 0*. THE OWNERS MANUAL IS NO HELP. IS THIS UNIT UNDER WARRANTY?

warranty is determine by the purchase date and only you know when you bought it
the readings indicate a problem may be in the thermostat as the freezer should be reading -15C and the fridge reading at around +5C
indicates that the compressor is not running ( check for hot fins or back wall outside of the fridge compartment)
mechanically inclined is not good enough as it requires electronic and refrigeration expertise to fix

Eloctrolux frost free freezer

No model number, so not much chance of an answer... find the model number of the refridgerator (on a sticker somewhere) and download the manual, then read the manual. That is what I would have to do, even if you had given the model number. Read the owner's manual.

Refrigerator side too cold

refrigerators only have one cooling system and that is for the freezer. The fridge part is cooled by sending a portion of the air from the freezer to the fridge. your fridge thermostat controls a fan that turns on and off as needed. first step is to make sure this is working, and not stuck on. turn your fridge to a somewhat warm no and open the door for a few minutes to allow the cold air out then check and see see if it gets very cold again within say an hour. if it does your fan is always on and you need to repair it. if that is working then you have to play with both freezer and fridge settings. best thing is to get a cheap thermometer and check your freezer temp. it should be around 0 to -5f if it is colder than that frigid air blowing into your fridge too cool the whole area will freeze anything close to the vent. once you have your freezer set then start adjusting your fridge. personally I have mine set at 34f knowing that some things on the top shelf will freeze. but I like my cola's COLD. so I put things like butter that are harder to freeze at that level. but if you don't want anything to freeze then a temp of 37 -39f is correct for your fridge. so it comes down to freezer temp, the amount of time the fan is on, and proximity to the vent. good luck

Kenmore Cold spot refrigerator model 106 70182001 leaking inside in the back of the refrigerator. Having to keep bowls in the back of the top shelf. How can I fix this?

Your defrost drain in the frezer is cloged. Every day when your refrig sellf defrosts the water should drain into a hole that leads to a tube wich drains the water to a pan under the refrig. You need to turn offrefrig and remove frezer floor and rear wall and clean out hole and tube with hot water.

This can happen if the fan motor in the freezer compartment is bad. Causes the freezer section to freeze up and you will not get air circulating, so no cooling. Check the fanmotor

Your evaporator coils frost up in normal use and every eight hours or so the entire unit shuts down and the defrost heater comes on to melt the frost. This cycle last about 20 minutes. The melted frost drips into a drain pan and through a drain tube to the drain tray under the freezer/refrigerator where it's evaporated by the condenser fan.

Your drain tube may be stopped up with ice at the upper end because it drains too slow because it's stopped up at the lower end in the evaporator pan under the unit at the floor. It can get dust and mold in it. Once you get the ice out at the top a little pressure with a turkey baster will usually clear it out. Flushing it out with hot water and clorox may help.
Make sure it drains quick enough to prevent refreezing. . The drain should be located below the evaporator coils on the lower back of the freezer.

The fridge gets its cold air from the freezer through a vent(damper) between the freezer and fridge. The fan in the freezer blows air through it. Make sure this fan is running. You may have to hold the door switch in for it to run. There is a flap you adjust with the fridge temp. control. Make sure it's opening and closing when you adjust the fridge temp.
The problem could be the electronic control if you have one or the mechanical linkages.
