You could have a bad fuel pump relay. When you first turn the key on, there is a prime signal sent to the fuel pump to get fuel pressure up to the rail for starting. You can hear this priming if you turn the key to the on position without cranking. You'll hear a 2-3 second buzzing noise from the rear. This is the prime. Once the vehicle starts, the PCM is supposed to energize the fuel pump relay to run the pump. The the PCM doesn't do that or the relay is bad, the vehicle will start. but stall out as soon as fuel pressure drops too low for the injectors.

Loss of fuel pressure, loss of spark is likely. What you need to do is have the fault codes in the memory of the engine control computer. You will need an OBD2 fault code reader, it hooks to the diagnostic link port under the dash in front of the driver.
