It is imperative you use the correct fluid in your Audi tiptronic transmission. Look in your owners manual for the correct fluid. If you do not have an owners manual call your local Audi dealer or better yet drive to one and purchase Audi Pentosin A/T fluid from the dealer. Do not use Dexron III as it is not designed for the Triptonic transmission. A transmission is very expensive to replace so do not take any chances and just buy your fluid from your Audi dealer even though you may pay a little more. That way you are 100% sure you are using the correct fluid.
16619 -Engine boost condition - Limit not reached. Check intake hoses/ connections for leaks. Check Turbo charger waste gate regulating valve/ waste gate working correctly. Must move freely when accelerating, won't achieve full boost if waste gate sticking open. Check Turbo impeller turning freely, oil feed pipe for turbo can get blocked causing impeller to seize. Engine compact, not easy to access these components.
Audi A6 2,5 TDI 5 cil is a great car. The engine is one of Audi's most tested engines. But models before '96 will rust quite a bit, if you dont look af it. So look for rust and be sure that the drive-belt is replaced in time.
