2014 Dodge Grand Caravan SXT, last couple days BOTH sliding doors won't open with switch on column by front seat.

Clean the tracks and guides the door moves on, then lubricate them with a light coat of white Lithium grease, commonly called "Lubriplate". This will greatly reduce the power needed to close the door fully.

disengage the saftey Anon, I believe it is done on the overhead console or if you mean the child prevention lock, it is a small switch by the doors latching assembly. Links below give instruction.

U will have to take the inside door cover off and manualy open it. And replace the electric door locking switch. Very common problem. Get the new lock and latch assembly from dealer,

Remove by starting on the windshield side(pointy side). Using a very small flat blade screwdriver, or small trim stick. Pry slowly to release the 2 clips. Do not do this on the seat side !!! You can break the tab that switches the light on/off. Blub turn out counterclockwise.

It sounds like you might have a bad switch or it might be just a fuses, you might want to check both out.

Try taking off the door, or spray some wd-40 on the rail. It sounds like its either not getting enough power or its getting caught on something.
