Yes there was a recall on it. As long as you have less than 109K on it, they will fix it free of charge. Some Honda dealers will try to skrew you, but do some research first on the web and you should be able to find the repair bulliten.

How do i replace the tranny in a 2002 honda accord a/t v6

Replacing a transmission is a complex task that would require pages and pages of explanations. I doubt that this chore can be performed outside a proper repair shop. 1998/2000 a/t were notoriously weak, and the object of a recall. Make sure that the replacement transmission has all the required remedial kits, or was a model manufactured after the recall.

I have a 2000 honda accord that i wash the engine and now....

Unless you sprayed high pressure water into the bay for a bit then it wouldnt have affected it. 98-02 accords are notorious for slipping auto transmissions around 130k (requiring a replacement). Sounds like it just coincided with you washing the car.

Trans shifts very hard between 1 & 2 gear. 1998 Honda acoord auto trans.

There is a recall on that issue. Call honda to see if you are still covered. There is a limit on mileage. If you qualify they will put a new tranny. Good luck

Automatic transmission slipping 1994 honda accord

there are a few things to do b4 getting new tranny. i would first think of when the last time it was serviced was,if more than 2 or 3 years or 25000 miles since then have it serviced first for a few hundred dollars if you pay someone or about 65 if you do it.just change the filter and pan gasket and refill with appropriate fliud and amount.keep in mind this is only if you havnt drove it much since it started slipping...if it has slipped for more than a few days get a used or new one or have that rebuilt.

92 honda accord intermittent crank but no start/ tranny issues

I know that early 90's Honda's had problems and in fact a recall on the distributor. Might want to replace the distributor. Inside of the distributor is a part called the igniter which is the ignition module and that is what normally goes out. I cannot remember if you have to replace the whole distributor to get the igniter or if you can just replace the igniter itself. Has been a few years since I have worked on one. hope this helps but if not please contact me. I'm not sure about the drive light flashing thing though, new one on me.
