The pressure switch on the low-side line breaks the circuit to the compressor if there is a problem with refrigerant pressure. You may have a refrigerant pressure problem or just a bad pressure switch.

I have a 1998 Chevy blazer with a 4.3 L v6. I currently have no power to my ac compressor and no power to the ac fuse.

According to the wiring diagram, fuse 10 (AC compressor relay) is powered from "hot at all times" bus in the fuse panel.

Check fuse contacts in the fuse block.

My air condition work only when I hot wire the compressor clutch. Otherwise it not engaging when I turn on the ac.

You have to insert a can of R134A refrigerant and hose on the low pressure port.
Normally it is the fatter of the two hoses coming from the compre3ssor.It should then kick in with the A/C switch engaged.
If not you may have a bad fuse, switch, compressor,or relay.

Do you have A/C gauges to check your Freon? If charge is insufficient. low pressure switch will prevent compressor from engaging. If charge is suffient replace low pressure switch.

Ac clutch not kicking on

ADD Freon. It's a R134 system and the pressure is too low. Trust me add Freon and it will work fine. With a low amount of Freon if you jump the low pressure switch at the accumulator it will be very cold but will not have enough pressure to kick on the low pressure switch.

1986 chevy S10 has no power (12v) at fuse box on the fuse for ac clutch. checked both sides of fuse to ground 00v. ac/heater fuse 12v both sides (fan) works fine

hello, check all fuses, and relays, make sure wires to ac is not broke or has been pinched, sometimes you can run hot wire from battery, to compressor, touch hot side of plug in on comp wire see if it will kick on, if so sounds like a short, if compressor dont kick on with hot wire run to it, tap the out side of comp clutch and see if it kicks on, these compressors will not kick on any way if they are low on freon, once freon is full it should work.

Can some post the 1999 gmc sierra wiring diagram

you don't have enough pressure in your system. odds are you have a leak someplace and the factory installed a saftey switch to keep the ac from running when there is no pressure. This way you don't end up burning up your compressor.

No power for AC compressor

try removing the plug off the low pressure switch on the accumalator plug a paper clip into the plug and turn ac on if it comes on then your low pressure switch is bad or your low on refigerant.

Ac new and ran for 4 months then stoped.

Try checking the spacing of the clutch of the compressor to your A/C...chances are the gap is too large and will not pull down to engage the compressor. That should eliminate the jump wire and keep your car snowing. No clutch to engage the compressor, no A/C.
