Head Gasket replacement is not for the faint hearted. You need a good set of tools and a torque wrench. And whilst you are in there, you might as well check and lap (fine grind) the valve mating surfaces. You can also get additives that can seal SMALL and I mean small, cylinder head leaks. Scotty Kilmer has videos on that as well.

Also, check the neutral safety switch - Put your foot on the brake and put the car in neutral. Then try to start it. If it starts the neutral safety switch is bad. It could be the ignition switch. It could be to starter solenoid. Does it have an inertia switch? They rarely go bad but I have seen it.

Intake manifold normally has firing order cast in, or get a shop manual. The hard part can be finding which should be #1, especially if you have had the distributor removed. Use compression gauge to find TDC compression stroke on #1 and see where rotor is pointing.

Crank position sensor...i have same car and that happened to me

think its too old to have one

car starts and idles good.it cuts off while driving,and starts right back up????????

could be a few things. i suggest starting with check for vacuum leaks, and check cooling fan operation. hope helps
