Need the firing order for a 2004 Cadillac v8 northstar

Sounds like a blown head gasket. Not good. Will certainly need fixed.

Buick 3.8L engine - 1-6-5-4-3-2
Cadillac 4.6L Northstar engine - 1-2-7-3-4-5-6-8

The cadillac motor was only in the GXP package

The Northstar V8 VIN Code 9 or Y is a 4.6L engine. The cylinders are arranged in 2 banks of 4 with a 90 degrees included angle. The left (front) bank of cylinders are number 2-4-6-8 and the right (rear) bank cylinders are 1-3-5-7. Engine firing order is 1-2-7-3-4-5-6-8.

My 04 CADILLAC SRX AWD V8 is saying 18% transmission life left..do I need to change the fluid all together or can I add some more to fill it up...I have no leakage????

FIRING ORDERS NOTE: To avoid confusion, remove and tag the spark plug wires one at a time, for replacement. If a distributor is not keyed for installation with only one orientation, it could have been removed previously and rewired. The resultant wiring would hold the correct firing order, but could change the relative placement of the plug towers in relation to the engine. For this reason it is imperative that you label all wires before disconnecting any of them. Also, before removal, compare the current wiring with the accompanying illustrations. If the current wiring does not match, make notes in your book to reflect how your engine is wired. I'm not sure if the Northstar has it anywhere. Just for your info though, the firing order is as follows:
1-2-7-3-4-5-6-8
