2002 dodge grand caravan se 3.3 V6

In a 2002 Dodge Grand Caravan SE with a 3.3 V6 engine, there are several fuses that you can check if the front heat/air/defrost is not working. These fuses are located in the engine compartment and in the passenger compartment fuse box.

To check the fuses in the engine compartment:

Locate the fuse box cover on the driver's side of the engine compartment.
Remove the cover by pressing in the tabs on the sides of the cover.
Look at the fuse diagram on the inside of the cover or in the owner's manual to determine which fuses to check. The fuses related to the front heat/air/defrost are typically labeled "HVAC" or "Blower Motor."
Use a fuse tester or a multimeter to test the fuses. If the fuse is blown, it will need to be replaced.
To check the fuses in the passenger compartment fuse box:

Locate the fuse box under the dashboard on the passenger side of the vehicle.
If checking the fuses does not resolve the issue with the front heat/air/defrost, there may be a problem with the blower motor or the HVAC system

Locate fuse for dashboard lights

Check for a fuse box underneath the dashboard in the drivers side. Some times there is a plastic lever that needs to be pulled down in order for the fuse panel to swing down. Check your car manaul to see where the dasboard light fuse is located, some times the fuse can be located in the engine compartment where you will find a rather big black plastic box with relays and other fuses. Another fuse box location is found on the passenger side underneath the dashboard or kick panel, better to check the owners manual so you don't have to look into all 3 locations.

When you do find the right fuse block, look for a fuse that is labled Insturment Lights or Cluster Panel, that usually indicates the dashboard light fuse. The fuse used in most dashboard lights is around the 15 to 20 Amp range.

Why dome lights with fade do not work when doors are opened or closed?

All of the items you listed are controlled by the Central Control Unit (AKA body control module) which is located under the right side of the dash behind the glove box.

The CCU has several battery voltage inputs which should be checked:

Fuse #8 (15 Amp), (Hot in RUN or START) and Fuse #15 (20 Amp) (HOT AT ALL TIMES) in passenger compartment fuse block.
Fuse #10 (10 Amp) (HOT AT ALL TIMES) in the engine compartment fuse block, via the inertia switch located ay the left rear side of the engine compartment.

Note: the inertia switch supplies power to pin #18 (BLUE/GREEN wire) at the CCU connector C0428. If there is battery voltage at this pin, the inertia switch is OK.

When you check your fuses, make sure they have power when they are supposed to have power. I have had many people simply LOOK at the fuses and tell me they are OK only to find out that the fuse has no power even though it is not blown. (possible connector or wiring problem to the fuse itself).

If this information is not enough to locate the problem, you will need a scan tool that is capable of two-way communication with your onboard computer network to continue diagnosis.

Trying to locate the fuse box as the cigarette lighter is not working

The main fuse box is under the hood in the front left of the engine compartment beneath a roughly 14"x3" black plastic cover, right againt the outside edge of the engine compartment, you can't miss it . You can inspect each fuse by pulling out to see if any have blown. There is space for 3 spare fuses which may hold spare fuses. There is another fuse box, called the "instrument panel fuse box." It is located inside the car, forward of the driver's left knee, behind the coin drawer that sits to the left of the steering column. Just pull out the drawer and you'll see the fuse block. There's a chart on the back of the drawer, in addition to the charts that can be found for both fuse boxes in the rear of the owner's manual.

Need fuse box info for 1993 ford club wagon

There are two fuse panels, or power distribution boxes. The engine compartment power distribution box is located on the left hand side of the engine compartment above the wheel well, and the central (inside) power distribution box is located under the LH side of the dash, left of the steering column.

My cd/radio all the sudden stopped working maybe fuse??

There are two fuse boxes. One is located on the kick panel in front of the passenger side seat. Remove the big cover. Inside there is a second cover that ultimately gets you to the fuses. Try #20 (reference the template on the inside of the cover). There is a second fuse box (high current fuses) inside the engine compartment (on the passenger side of the compartment, big square plastic box). Fuse # 56 (reference the template inside the cover of the fuse box). Same deal.

By the way, there is a fuse removal tool inside the interior fuse box (white plastic piece on the left side of the box). You will need that removal tool to work on the ones in the engine compartment. That other box doesn't have a tool.
Hope this helps.
