Many times after a vehicle runs out of gas the fuel filter has picked up all the **** in the tank and is clogged check to see if this is the problem or you might possibly have vapor lock due to air in the line when the tank ran dry

Won't start?

Could have ruined an already worn fuel pump

Turn key on/engine off should hear pump run
for 3 or 4 seconds

Check fuel pressure if it runs with a gauge on
injector fuel rail or with a professional scan tool

Try spraying the throttle body to see if it will run

My car wont start

If it won't crank, the battery could have failed or you could have a faulty connection between the battery and starter.

Car won;t start after fillig up the gas task

It might be your fuel pump, if you turn your key to the setting right before your car turns on and you hear nothing, it maybe your fuel pump, if you do hear a buzz then try replacing your fuel filter before it strains your fuel pump
