It is located on the right fender near the cowl panel. There should be 3 or 4 relays on the bracket. the one closest to the front of the car should be for the blower. -------------------------- Its located under your glove compartment on the passangers side of the car. You will have to remove the grey piece being held in by 3 plastic fasteners. Its the piece with the light for the passanger flour board in it. after you get that out you will see the bottom of the blower motor. You will have to remove 3 screws, a wire plug and a rubber hose that just pulls off to get it out. Hope this helps.

Look under the dash on the passenger side. It should be below to the left of the blower motor. You will see the plug going into it. (there was a change right about that time, If you don't find it there it will be on the same side in the engine compartment, again near the blower motor.

The front a/c blower does not work, all fuses are good. please help

J, I am sending you some info to read but it appears that the most likely cause is the blower motor relay. Give the following notes a read and if you need some more help give me a buzz... Best of Luck..

1996 Chrysler Town & Country 3.3L, Vin R 1996 Dodge Grand Caravan ES 3.8L, Vin L 1996 Chrysler Town & Country LX 3.3L, Vin R 1996 Dodge Grand Caravan LE 3.8L, Vin L 1996 Dodge Caravan LE 3.8L, Vin L 1996 Dodge Grand Caravan SE 3.3L, GAS, Vin R, Eng Cfg V6 1996 Dodge Caravan Sport 3.3L 1996 Plymouth Grand Voyager SE 3.3L, GAS, Vin R, Eng Cfg V6 1996 Dodge Grand Caravan ES 3.3L, Vin R 1996 Plymouth Voyager Rallye 3.3L Customer Concern: Front blower does not work; no power to it. Fuse is OK. Tests/Procedures: 1. At the blower motor, there is a Dark Blue wire. This wire should have battery voltage whenever the key is in the "on" position. Power for the blower motor comes from the blower relay.

2. Access the front blower relay, it is located on the driver's side under the dash, near the junction block. There will be four wires going to it. The Dark Green wire should have battery voltage all the time. The Dark Blue wire is going to the motor. The Black/Orange wire should have battery voltage with the key in the "on" position. The Black wire should be grounded at all times. On this circuit, the relay is energized whenever the key is in the "on" position. Potential Causes: Front Blower Relay
Front Blower Relay Wiring
Heater Ventilation Air Conditioner (HVAC) Control Head
Tech Tips: The front blower relay is located under the dash, on the driver's side. It may be necessary to remove the junction block (fuse and relay box) in order to see it. Diagnostic Codes: None

Where is the blower motor relay on a 1999 pontiac grand am v6

relay or resistor?
the resistor is underneath the dash board on passenger side underneath glove box.
I know from personal experience that if you cant turn on air on the first, second, or third settings, that replacing the blower motor RESISTOR will fix it. As far as the relay....dont know...never messed with it.

If a/c compr engauges, with switch on, but just don't blow air, relay is ok, check voltage at blower motor with test light, blower motor is under dash on passenger side, if you have voltage there, replace blower motor assembly.

This sound like the blower motor relay(lo relay) is wired in to the head light switch voltage. You need to follow the wire from the blower relay (there should be 4 wires) thats hot when the ignition is on and make sure it goes to the blower motor. It sounds like a couple wires got switched.
