check to see if the catalytic converter is clogged,loosen bolts at exhaust manifold if engine stays running , cat is beginning to clog

I think I'd have to gamble on a new relay, and clean up contacts in those sockets with electrical cleaner, then add dielectric grease before plugging in new one. Do the pump first obviously.

SOURCE: I need to replace a fuel filter for a 2003 hyundai

Please don't forget to rate!!!

NOTE The fuel filter is located underneath the car, near the fuel tank.

Before servicing the vehicle, refer to the Precautions section.
Relieve the fuel system pressure.
Remove or disconnect the following:

Negative battery cable Fuel supply and pressure lines Fuel filter bracket, if equipped Fuel filter

Fig. Remove the fuel filter

Install or connect the following:

Fuel filter and torque the mounting bolts to 18-25 ft. lbs. (25-35 Nm) Fuel filter bracket, if equipped Fuel supply and pressure lines Negative battery cable
Start the engine, check leaks and repair if necessary.

Hello, I purchased a 2003 Hyundai XG350 last month. When I start the car, put AC or defrost on, and then start driving there is a screeching noise that lasts for 10 seconds and then goes away. If I stop...

See if it goes away when you turn the A/C off. The a/c comes on when you sre in the defrost so yo don't hit the windshield with hot air. The screaching is more than likely the A/C clutch trying to engage, that why it was overlooked or ignored by the mechanic. It is a common thing. The battery should be allowed to recoup from the starting of the car which a few minutes of running woll help so the a/c clutch gets full battery voltage to function.. Turning on the defrost and /or the A/c after about 3 minutes of warm up. Open your hood and have someone turn the a/c on and off, you can hear and sctually see the a/c clutch doing its irritating thing.But keep your fingers out off the engine and don't lean over it with loose clothing. As long as you have the cables hooked up right (+ to + and - to -) and let it run for a few minutes it should jump the car. Unless their battery is completely dead or their alternator it gone.
