My dash lights and night lights do not come on at all.

no other failure> car runs perfect all other electrics perfect.
head lights, parking lights??????

the dash lamps are usually on the park light circuit.
check parking lamps.
check fuses first.

next time say what dash lamps means.
there are a huge number of lamps on the dash
warning lights.
displays
dash parking lamps (back ground glowing for night usage)
called dial lights.
say exactly the lamp that is dead and what it does.

the dash dial lights on all cars have a dimmer control
turn it up,. and bingo the dials glow.

Is the door switch damaged, or does it need adjusting? Is the connector plug to the switch properly connected?

My 2006 kia Sorento ex .Instrument panel lights up when the headlights not on .I notice it when applied the brake mostly at night when park it in my driveway with engine off .

Hi, It could be the voltage regulator! Do the lights get brighter when you give it gas?

The tail lights are usually on the same fuse as your dash lights. Check to see if you have tail lights. If they are on and it's only your dash lights that don't work, check the dash dimmer switch for a fault.

When you say "dash lights" do you mean the lights that illuminate the dash for night time driving, or do you mean the actual warning indicator lights. If it is the warning indicator lights AND it is a GM made truck or SUV, there is a recall on 2000 through about 2009 or so. If it's any other make or year, you've got a bad insturment cluster or a bad ground. If the engine power drops out, you have a major problem I can't even guess at.

I have the exact same lights out. Anyone have experience in replacing them?

Did your radio go crazy too? Mine does this when it rains and I discoverd that my fuse box was getting wet. I was told I had a leak in the windshield.My lights would come on at night when this happened and run my battery down.

light sensor under the hood is bad. uy it at a junk yard, it's a lot cheaper.
