Turn signal not working

Left turn signal works. Right doesn't. Right dash light burns constant, both front and rear bulbs light burn constant, no blinking. What's the problem. I though when the dash light burned constant that meant a bulb is burned out.

On an older car this woul dsimply mean that the turn signal flasher was burned out for that side. today its more complex. the turn signal flasher is a series of resistors and timer modules located in the workings of the body control module. This can be a simple problem with a shorted line, or a faultly turn switch or something as complex as needing a new body control module. This is something that needs to be repaired by a quality automotive mechnican with an electrical backround, and unfortunatley unless your in the nyc area i have none to suggest to you.

TURN SIGNALS

Hi

Did you check the fuses for the turn lights? Do the
parking lights work? If the parking lights work then you probably have a
problem either in the switch or in turn signal module thing.
The burned out bulb is what might be causing it not to blink... if one bulb is burned out you gotta replace it, make no difference if front or back, the left blinker will not work if the left front or rear bulb is bad.
same with the right side. if the front right or rear right turn signal
light is burned out it will not work.....get replacing the bulbs.Hope this solves your problem. Please rate me if my solution helped you.

Left turn signals won't flash, Right side works fine. Replaced front and rear turn bulbs (rear was burned out). Bulbs come on fine on the left side, they just won't flash.

Gday mate, we had a problem with another late model vehicle similar to that, the bulb that was put into the reverse light was not exact brand product ( ohmage was slightly wrong ) and fowled up computer, correct bulb in place and disconnect battery to reset K A M ( keep alive memory) problem solved, BEWARE, some vehicles cannot have KAM reset except for dealer computer tethered reboot , just try putting the factory correct bulb(s) in and see how it goes, geoff. hope this helped.

The right turn signal comes on but intermittently it makes long duration of blinks. Sometimes both the right front and right rear will be energized in the on position but will not blink at all. We have...

You say it's the right turn signal that is malfunctioning. If the left works correctly, then the problem is most likely NOT the flasher unit. That unit provides the flash for both left and right signals. I think that flasher unit is mounted on your steering column, down under the dash. It will probably be an aluminum cylinder, but may be a rectangular black plastic block. Before you change the flasher unit, I'd suggest checking the front and rear turn signal light bulbs. On the front, those are the parking light bulbs, and on the rear are the stop light bulbs. You may have a poor connection, probably from corrosion, or the bulb is very nearly burned out completely. Good luck.

Rear turn signal and hazard light don't flash (left side only)

The rear left turn signal bulb must be replaced immediatly before it melts the light socket, if it has'nt yet. Also please verify that the correct light bulb is being installed. because even though many bulbs look the same they are not identical. Installing the wrong bulb can be the begining of many, many problems in the particular circuit
