Plugs and or wires.
for some reason the spark is jumping out of the wire or plug.
the plug insulater may have a crack in it.
also use a carb spray to clean out the throttle body at the throttle plate.
all the black carbon will build up around the throttle plate and restrick airflow at an idle position.
hope this helps
thank you

Once the RPMs are up some, it's tough to recognize a miss on a 6-8 cylinder engine but this is another good reason to keep a check on fuel consumption; you may not feel it but with one cylinder missing randomly, it will affect mileage and it is normal to correct missing power with the gas pedal.
The lousy Saturn I owned until it committed hari-kari at 57K had three out of four sparkplug leads leaking like crazy and it was really only noticeable at idle that the engine was running rough.
BTW, those leads were under three years old when I replaced them with silicone insulated leads.
Looking in the engine compartment at night was entertaining - sparks everywhere.
GM could give them away and I'd refuse to run down to get one.
