To remove the spare you need to access tools stored in the back of the vehicle, passenger side storage area. Open llftgate, remove net (if equipped), lift tab and remove cover to tool storage. Attach folding wrench to extension, insert 'chisel' end on an angle through the hole in the rear bumper and into the hoist shaft. Turn wrench counter-clockwise to lower spare enough so you can pull it from beneath the van to detach. Good luck!

Chevy uplander 2006 tire presure

32PSI is a good rule of thumb. If you want a tad bit better mileage you can run 35-40, but this will cause more tire to wear faster in the center of the tread.

Cannot remove spare tire from undercarriage

Hello, this vehicle has a locking device to keep the spare tire from falling down. you will have to perform these steps to remove spare tire.

  • Turn the folding wrench clockwise to raise the jack until it lifts the secondary latch device under the wheel plate.
  • Keep raising the jack until the compact spare tire stops moving upward and is held firmly in place. This lets you know that the secondary latch has released.
  • Lower the jack by turning the folding wrench counterclockwise. Keep lowering the jack until the compact spare tire is resting on the folding wrench

    Calipers are sticking

There is a reason that Chevy only made this vehicle for a few years,,, I couldnt get them to fix anything like that. When you replace the parts,, use a full can of brake cleaner on the pins and slides so that they move freely. After that, use a proper brake lube to lube the pins before you put it all back together.
