2000 Toyota Corolla.Dome light and clock not working.I was installing a new radio and accidentally let some wires touch, causing an arc.The turn signals were also not working.I changed the flasher fuse and those now work, but still no clock or dome light.I've checked the other fuses and they look good.
Have you check the fuse box ? its usually located near the battery. also check the main fuse by tracing the cable that connect to (+) of battery, there are two or more main fuse.Have you check the fuse box ? its usually located near the battery. also check the main fuse by tracing the cable that connect to (+) of battery, there are two or more main fuse.

check the fuses again, sometimes they blow right after you install them. there may be a short in the wiring causing them to pop. check fuses again and let me know
As the voltage from the battery drops, the starter will draw more current, which may have caused the fuse fry - more likely, the connection between the fuse and the socket was worn, causing an arc in the socket, effectively welding the fuse to the socket. You can try using a piece of wire to jump across the two silver tabs on the top of the fuse, and seeing if you can start the car, but eventually, that fuse has to come out.
The done light grounds itself by touching the roof bracing. The metal often wiggles and gets loose and cause it to not work, Ive also sen dome light switches go bad in corollas. Best bet it do either replace it, or remove it and bend the metal tabs out for a tighter fit. Try wiggling the switch also, they go bad.
