Unable to test the high side (which I recognize is important here), but low side while running AC at max was 35.

The low side pressure seems ok the high side would help,Is your compressor cycling and is the air coming out even slightly cool?slight over charge cold effect cooling ability.I wish I could be more help. I will have to think about this one.maybe you could make sure your temp.door is actually in the commanded cold position.

Not exactly.
The compressor can run until it begins to freeze up depending on the system, or until pressure readings get too high or too low.
Most cars today are designed to run the compressor as long as the switch is engaged and just add hot air from the heater to adjust cabin temp. There is a sensor in the evap to prevent the system from freezing up.
As long as it is warm outside and the system is not freezing up then yes the compressor will run constantly.

I have a 2001 Ford Mustang V6, the ac is blowing warm air. We checked the refrigerant and it is full. The ac compressor will kick on for a few seconds and then kick off. Why is the compressor not staying...

it's either low (in spite of your readings) or your a/c clutch is not working correctly or you have too big an air gap in the clutch.
First, just disconnect the 2 pin connector from the a/c pressure cycling swithc and jumper the 2 pins with a wire to force the clutch to stay engaged. See if it blows cold then, and stays engaged. You can run this way for about 15 minutes before you have to pull the plug.
report reulsts.

When I stopped using the a/c in the fall, it was blowing so cold, you could hand meat in the van (2003 Dodge Grand Caravan Sport) Now there is nothing. I can hear the faint sound and feel a slight movement...

Could be a leak in one of your AC hoses, or the compressor isn't kicking on. You can usually tell if the compressor comes on visually, so that is an easy one to check. If you have the gauges you can check the pressure of the AC system to make sure that it hasn't leaked out.

Ac doesn/t blow cold air

There could be a leak in your a/c system. Does your a/c compressor engage when the a/c is turned on? To check, locate the compressor, its a big cylinder on the serpentine belt, you should see the wheel engage(spin) and disengage(stop) when the a/c is activated. If it doesn't move, then your compressor is bad. If it does move, then there is a leak in the system that will need to be repaired.

The AC compressor looks like this:

sounds like the ac compresser is going bad. use a shorter belt to bypass the ac compresser to see if that stops the vibration
